After a very pleasant night's sleep (the mattress at the hotel was rock hard!), surfaced about 7:30. Of course Helen had been up since 05:30 continuing to gossip with her sister.
A little later, I was taken for a drive to get some fresh burek for breakfast. Very pleasant. Also got some flowers for the graves of Helen's father & grandparents. Late morning Sonia, Helen's sister, drove us out to the village where her mother grew up & where her grandfather lived. It is about 30 mins drive outside of town. Helen's mother was already there. We all visited the graves, and it was a very emotional time.
As always seems to be the case, a big meal had been arranged, and was washed down with some rakia. Felt very full afterwards, & a little light headed. All afternoon I was feeling truly stuffed.
Followed Anastacia (Helen's little niece) to her swimming lessons in the evening, then visited
Natasha's (Helen's big niece) house for a look around
Can't really think of anything more at the moment ... SQUIRREL!!... but will try & post something new tomorrow.
Ciao!
